·     Microsoft hangs up boots Xbox 360.
Earlier this week software makers Microsoft said that it will stop production of its popular Xbox 360 video game console, which helped the Microsoft to gain a firm foothold in the market.
·     Intel to cut 12000 Jobs worldwide.
Chip giant Intel announced that it would cut up to 12000 jobs globally or 11% of its workforce, as it refocuses its business towards making microchips that power data centers and internet connected devices and away from the decaling personal computer industry it helped found.
·     Apple launches new MaCbooks
In a surprise move, apple this week announced a new addition to its 12-inch macbook lineup. The new MaCbook is the companies slimmest yet and sports a starting price of Rs 1,06,900.
·     Twitter Seva for Startups
The commerce and industry ministry has launched ‘ Twitter Seva’. The new Service aims to address issue and grievances of startups, exporters and importers, and other stakeholders.
·     Google accused of missing Android
The European Union has charged Google of using its dominant android mobile operating system to squeeze out rivals. With this, EU opens another front aginst the US technology giant that could result in larger fines.
·     Acer, Asus beef up gaming range
Both Acer and Asus expanded their gaming laptop series with new additions to predator and ROG series. The laptop are quite high around Rs 1,80,000.
·     LeEco showcases self-driving car, to Launch TV’s in India.
LeEco has introduced its own line of TV’s with price range starting at Rs 30,000. The company also showcased concept of its first self driving car. The car that runs on voice commands aims to take Tesla motors in the space.
