After their fair share of leaks and rumors, here Samsung Lunched its Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ on Tuesday. They bears the design heritage and user experience of Samsung Galaxy S8. Both the Smartphone Galaxy A8 and A8+ feature Infinity display, IP68-certified dust and water resistance, apart from dual selfie camera setup to take on the competition.

There is no information about the pricing but as per information Samsung will start selling both the model in early January 2018.

 Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ both will be available in four color option: Black, Blue, Gold, and Orchid Grey. Here both the phone will support Gear VR headset.

Galaxy A8 features a 5.6-inch Full HD+(2220p by 1080p) Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio ( same as Galaxy S8) while the Galaxy A8+ has 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. Both the display will protected by curved glass identical to Galaxy S8 and S8+. Both the phone are powered by octa-core chip with two core clocked at 2.2GHz and six core clocked at 1.6GHz. Here Galaxy A8 has 4GB RAM, where the Galaxy A8+ comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM option.

Both the model comes with two selfie camera to persuade the selfie-taking youth, where one is 16-megapixel sensor of aperture f/1.9 and other of 8-megapixel of aperture f/1.9. Here the both the camera give the user two option either to blurred background or have a clear and crisp background as well as a focused foreground.

In addition to the dual selfie camera Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will sport a 16-megapixel of rear camera of aperture f/1.7. The rear camera sensor supports video digital image stabilization (VDis) technology and has feature such as hyper lapse and a food mode.

Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ have 32GB and 64GB onboard storage options that are expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

In terms of connectivity option Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Beside this Galaxy A8 comes with a 3000mAh battery where Galaxy A8+ comes with 3500mAh battery.
