Jio Records 21.8 Mbps 4G Download Speed in November, TRAI Data Shows: Detail

Reliance Jio 4G download speeds was 21.8Mbps in November according to Telecom regulator TRAI’s My Speed app. This is marginally less than the highest-ever download speed 21.9Mbps. According to MySpeed App, the download speed of Vodafone is about 9.9Mbps and the data of TRAI for Jio is more than twice of it. Since the TRAI app was launched late Last Year Jio has consistently been on the top of the download charts. Here the entire major telecom operator in the country saw an increase in their 4G upload speeds over the previous month as well.

Here in this list Jio Led the pack in November with 21.8Mbps of download speed followed by Vodafone with 9.9Mbps and Airtel with 9.3Mbps and Idea with download speed of 8.1Mbps. In the previous month we saw that Idea cellular was at Third position and Airtel at fourth position. Here we notice that the download speed of Airtel has noticeably increased from 7.5Mbps to 9.3Mbps.

Beside this BSNL will start offering 4G service in January next year, and Vodafone will roll out its VoLTE service the same month.

In terms of uploading speed between October and November we found no reshuffle in the order. Here Idea offers the Highest Upload speed in country at 7.1Mbps, followed by 6.2Mbps for Vodafone, where JIo and Airtel are far behind with 4.9Mbps and 3.9Mbps 4G upload speed respectively.  If we observe the list of Upload speed of all them of October we found 6.4Mbps, 5.9Mbps, 4.1Mbps and 3.5Mbps for Idea, Vodafone, Jio and Airtel respectively.

TRAI launch its application last year to allow the telecom regulator to monitor and publish network speeds on a monthly basis, with the data crowd sourced from user who has installed it on their phones. Here TRAI collect and compute data download speed with the help of Its MySpeed application on a real-time basis.
