Intex technologies on Tuesday expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the Elyt E6 in India which will be available at a price of Rs. 6,999.

Intex Elyt E6 is specially degined for selfie lovers with an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the front. It will go on sale in India starting December 15 and will be an Flipkart Exclusive.

Intex Elyt E6 features a 5-inch display with HD 720pixel by 1080pixels resolution and a 2.5D curved Dragontrail glass protection that is tougher than a conventional glass panel.

Intex Elyt E6 is powered by 64-bit quad-core MediaTek chip clocked at 1.25GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM, and 32GB onboard storage, which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSd card. The phone runs with Android 7.0 Nougat.

The Dual-SIM phone support 4G access and comes with a 13-megapixel of rear camera with an auto-focus (AF) lens and accompanied by an LED flash. For selfie lover Elyt E6 comes with 8-megapixel of front camera which comes with software features to enhance self-portrait shots. Further, Intex Elyt E6 has USB OTG support.

The Intex Elyt E6 comes with a 4000mAh battery that claimed to deliver a talk time up to 16 hours or a standby time of more than 12days on a single charge. Besides, the smartphone Elyt E6 will be available with Black color option.

“ Our special Elyt  series launched this year has been  well recived in the market and going with the consumers’ response we have launched ELYT E6 model, designed for the online platform for tech-savvy youth,” said Nidhi Markanday, Director, Intex Technologies, in a press statement.

Earlier This year, Intex brought the Elyt E7 at a price of Rs. 7,999 with 5.2-inch HD IPS display and a 4020mAh battery. Intex also bought Elyt dual as its affordable dual selfie camera smartphone last month to take on competition at Rs. 6,999 which include 8-megaapixel and

2-megapixel camera on the front.
