The Chinese maker Xiaomi launch Redmi 5A a successor of Redmi 4A  in its home country with a matte texture that according to Xiaomi, is “ much Lighter than metal”. For those who are curious, the phone weight 137 grams.

Like Redmi 4A this new update Redmi 5A also runs with MIUI 9-Based smartphone doesnot have a fingerprint sensor , but sports some design changes, such that rounded corner for a comfortable grip.

Another highlighted feature of Redmi 5A is its battery, which company claim to deliver battery life up to eight days.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A is available at a price of CNY 599 ( Rs 6,000 aprox) and it is available for pre order starting Monday in China. It will be available in Mi.com and other e-comerce website.

Redmi 5A is not seen upgraded specification than Redmi 4A.

Redmi 5A comes with 5-inch HD display of resolution 720pixel by 1280pixel with 296ppi.

Redmi 5A is powered by 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal Storage, which can be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card. The duai-SIM Redmi 5A comes with 3000mAh battery which seems to be a downgrade hen compared to Redmi 4A.

Redmi 5A comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/2.2 with Burst mode, panorama mode, HDR mode and more.

In terms of front camera Redmi 5A comes with a 5-megapixel camera with aperture f/2.0. Redmi 5A supports 1080pixel and 720 pixel video recording.

Redmi 5A runs with companies own MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 nougat.

In terms of connectivity option Redmi 5A comes with 4G VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, micro-USB. Redmi 5A come with a hybrid SIM slot.

Accept Accelerometer and proximity sensor Redmi 5A  does not have any sensor include.
