Chinese Phone company Oppo launched Oppo F5 on Thursday, which is the successor of Oppo F3. This phone also focused on its selfie camera and comes with artificial intelligence (AI) beauty technology integrated in the front camera. Following the current trends of smartphones, the all-new Oppo F5 also sports an all-screen front with slim bezels around the display. Oppo F5 is set to launch in India on November 2.

Oppo F5 is now up for Pre-order in Philippines and come in two RAM and storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 32GB storage Oppo F5 has been priced at PHP 15,990 (Rs.20,000 approx) and comes with Gold and Black Color Option. Another Oppo F5 of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant has been announced in Red Color through the price has not been announced so far. It is expected the the price  for this variant will be available next week.

One of the biggest highlight being marketed heavily by the company is the AI-enabled beauty technology that comes intregrated in the front camera. The company says “ With more than 200 positioning sport, the F5 accentuates your facial landmarks and contours to enhance the symmetry between feature like your eyes, nose, cheekbones and jawline to create the perfectly refined and natural selfie. Its beauty-iris tool ensures that your eyes will shine brighter in any photo.” The front camera is claimed to recognize if there’s background light or can add luminance to portraits for improved selfie. The front camera is also capable of clicking shots with a Bokeh effect.

In terms of front camera Oppo F5 sports a 20-megapixel sensor at front with aperture f/2.0. At the back Oppo F5 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/1.8 with LED flash. Oppo F5 features a 6-inch TFT display with Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080pixel by 2160pixel. Oppo F5 is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT 6763T processor coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM. The handset support dual Nano-SIM card and packs a separate microSD card. The storage of the phone can be expandable up to 256Gb via using microSD card. Oppo F5 runs with ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Naugat with a 3200mAh battery. In terms of connectivity option Oppo F5 comes with 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB, 3.5mm Jack and FM radio.

Should You buy this?

If you are a selfie lover and you want a phone which is good for selfie only than Oppo F5 is a phone, you can buy. But if you want a phone with great Processor than it is not a phone you should buy.

If the Phone is available bellow Rs 15,000, it would be a worth of boy.
