Xiaomi became one of the top vendors in India. Now in the section of budget phone under Rs 10000 Xiaomi bought a new phone Xiaomi Redmi 4 with three variant.

If we see Redmi 4 looks like a smaller version of Redmi Note 4. It comes with a metal polished back with its logo at the billow with a 13-megapixel camera at the left corner and a fingerprint sensor at the middle as you can see in the picture which seems to create nothing problem to reach your finger.
On the right side you can find the volume and the power button. 


At the bellow you find a Micro-USB port for charging and data transferring, with grilles on either side, though only one of them is actually a speaker and the other one is the microphone. 

On the top there is a 3.5mm jack and an infrared emitter.
The navigation button is placed bellow the screen and notification LED is also placed right bellow the home button.

On the left side there is a hybrid Dual-SIM tray, where you have to decide that you want to use two SIM or one SIM card with a Micro-SD card.


In terms with thickness the phone became 8.65mm thick and a weight of 150g.

Redmi 4 comes with 5-inch IPS LCD screen with 720× 1280p with 2.5D curved-edge glass. It seems to be first time that Xiaomi use 2.5D glass in a phone bellow Rs 10000.
The phone is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. There is three variant of Redmi 4: one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage at a Price of Rs 6999; 3GB RAM with 32GB storage at a Price of Rs 8,999; 4GB RAM with 64GB storage at Rs 10999. The storage of these phones is expandable to 128GB by using Micro-SD card.


The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8.2.



You get a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a LED flash which enable you to take good quality picture with HD video recording. Where on the front you will get a 5megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for clicking good quality selfie and to record HD video too.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with a 4100mAh non removable battery.
In terms of connectivity Redmi 4 supports 4G and VOLTE. If you use two SIM card you than the primary one allows you to use 4G where the other SIM falls back to 2G calls only.
In terms of other connectivity option you get Wi-Fi, GPS, bluetooth4.0, infrared etc.



In terms of sensor you will get compass or Magnetometer, proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Gyroscope.

If you ask me whether you should buy it or not, than my answer will be.
Yes this is one of the best budget phones now. If you buy this you will get a good processor, screen, camera, connectivity options and many more. From my point of view it is a worth of money.
