MEGHAPIXLE | What is Megapixel? How Important is it? Smartphone Camera? in Hindi

MEGAPIXEL
                                    Important or NOT?

Every time we have discus about megapixel of our phone cameras like my phone has 12 megapixels and other one has 8 megapixels camera. Does this megapixel really responsible for a better photography experience or not? Today we are going to discus about
1.     What is megapixel?
2.     How it works?
3.     How it is important to your phone? Or is it really an important feature of a phone camera?

At the first let we discus about megapixel. Megapixel is actually a short form of million pixel i.e. 1000000 pixels. Now what is pixel???
In our camera there is lenses, aperture etc etc , but at last there is sensor where pixels are arranged in a sequenced. Pixels are things that are capable to catch each and everything like light, contrast, colour and everything from the view. And when the information gathered by each pixel is processed it save the photo and we got it at gallery. If there is more pixels you can got a more detailed photo. We can get the more detail of the each of the part of a picture if there is more and more pixels. But it does not mean that the quality of the picture could be maximized by putting more and more pixels. If your sensor is big and the lenses are powerful you can get a good quality photo although you have a normal pixel like 5 MP or 8MP. This is what exactly happens with DSLRs.
Now let we talk about the arrangements of pixels.

In 1 MP there are 1000000 pixels that are arranged as 1152by864 pixels where 1152 pixels are arranged in length and 864 pixels are arranged in breadth. As like 1MP in 4MP it is arranged as 2304 by 1728 pixels and in 12MPit is arranged as 4000 by 3000 pixels so on. Here we have seen that as the Megapixel increases the number of pixels in the sensor increases. But the question is how it is accompanied with the quality of the picture taken by the phone.

As the number of pixels increase the size of each pixels decrease if the size of the sensor is remains same. And if the size of the pixel is small it cannot capture more information from the view so if we use 8millon pixels and we use 12 million pixels in a same size of sensor then the camera having 8 million pixels will give a good picture than the camera having 12 million pixels. For example if you get a look for I-phone 7 and I-phone 7s which having a camera of 8MP and 12MP but the sensor is same in the both camera you can find nothing more difference in the picture taken by both the phones.
I think you have notice that some phone having low Megapixel can take more clear picture than a phone having high Megapixel camera this could be because of the size of the sensor that is used in the phones. If both the phone has same size of sensor in phone having 8MP camera has larger pixel than the phone having 12MP camera i.e. the pixels of 8MP camera can capture more information than the camera having 12MP camera. So we got a bright and cleared picture in the phone having a camera of 8MP.

I think I have cleared most of the things related to megapixel and now you can understand yourself that is getting a phone of higher megapixel is all.
