32 bit Vs 64-bit

32 bit Vs 64-bit PROCESSOR

Hello everyone, we are always confused about 32-bit and 64-bit processor. Today we are going to discuss this that which one is better and how?

Actually in 2003 AMD launches its 64-bit processor for computers and after 10 year in 2013 apple launches first 64-bit processor for their phone i-phone 5s with the processor A7. From that time all the Smartphone companies starts to specify their processor as 32-bit or 64-bit. So we need to know how we can differentiate both the processor and find the best one.
Today we are going to discuss three major points by how you can easily compare 32-bit or 64-bit processor.

1.      Memory addressing:  you should know that a 32-bit processor can only use a RAM of 4GB and if you use a RAM more than 4GB than you can use a processor of 64-bit. This is because in a 32-bit processor there is only 32bit i.e. it has 32billon value that can be changed into different 1 and 0 and only can store only an address of 4GB only. Where as a 64-bit processor can address 16biion Gigabits in it. I think it will not address so much for next few years but if you use a RAM more than 4GB you can use a processor of 64-bit.
2.      Calculation Speed:  In calculation a processor of 32-bit can calculate between two integer of 32bit whereas and 64-bit processor can calculate two integer of  64-bit. It shows that in terms of calculation 64-bit wins the race.
3.      Operating system support :  Operating system support is also a big factor while we are talking about 32-bit and 64-bit processor. If you are thinking about using 64-bit processor than your operating system and the applications you are using must support the 54-bit processor, otherwise both 32-bit and 64-bit processor are same. In android if you are using marshmallow or lollypop and in apple if you are using IOS7 or above, than you are eligible to use 64-bit processor. Beside that I am also like to say you that the applications that are available in appstore, most of them are not eligible for 64-bit processor.
After all this I think now you understand how you can compare the 32-bit and 64-bit processor.
In short if you use Ram more than 4GB or you are using an operating system of marchmallo or lollypop or IOS7 or more than that than you can use a 64-bit processor.
Don’t be fool if any phone company offered you a processer of 64-bit  with a operating system of kitkat or with a RAM bellow 4GB because the things they are offered are not support the needs of a 64-bit processor.

I think by reading this now you can easily compare the best processor for your phone.

Thanks for reading. If you have any suggestion or question you can write it bellow in the comment. And if you think this is really informative than please share it.
